I really got my money's worth at Belem Guest House. The room was absolutely gorgeous with wooden floors and two balconies. The location was perfect, close to all the famous landmarks and a short distance to the beach. The staff treated me like family and were always helpful and friendly.
The breakfast menu could use a little variety.

During my recent stay at Belem Guest House, I was truly impressed by the warm and charming welcome I received. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my fiancée and I were comfortable both in the guest house and in the city. The location of the guest house was also fantastic, with easy access to buses and city transport. We were delighted to find several affordable restaurants nearby that served delicious food, and we especially enjoyed indulging in the famous pasteis de nata of Belem. I would highly recommend Belem Guest House for a memorable stay in Lisbon!
I must mention that there was a minor inconvenience during our stay as the female toilet was out of order, resulting in everyone having to share the same toilet. However, considering that it was already a shared toilet, this was a minor issue.

The bathrooms at Belem Guest House are amazing! They have complimentary toiletries and hair dryers, so you don't have to worry about packing those. Plus, they are super clean and well-maintained. I felt so refreshed after using them!
The only thing I liked less at Belem Guest House was the WiFi connection. It was a bit slow at times, but hey, I was here to disconnect and enjoy my vacation, so it wasn't a big deal.

The decoration at Belem Guest House was absolutely charming. The common areas were beautifully furnished with vintage furniture and quaint knick-knacks. As a senior woman, I appreciated the cozy ambiance and the comfortable seating areas, which made it easy for me to relax and socialize with other guests. The hotel's accessibility was also impeccable, with handrails in the staircases and well-lit hallways, ensuring that senior guests like myself felt safe and secure throughout our stay.
It would have been even better if there were more activities or events specifically catered to senior guests. Perhaps organized day trips or sightseeing tours designed to accommodate our pace and interests.

I recently stayed at Belem Guest House for a conference at the nearby Lisbon conference center. The location was perfect for my needs, and it was easy to explore other parts of the city using the nearby buses and trams. The staff was incredibly helpful and made sure my fiancée and I felt comfortable both at the hotel and in the city. There were also several affordable restaurants nearby, where we enjoyed delicious local cuisine, including the famous pasteis de nata of Belem. The room was clean and affordable, with a shared bathroom and a kitchen available for use. I highly recommend staying at Belem Guest House for its charming welcome, convenient location, and friendly atmosphere.
Would recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a guest house during Christmas, and it was an amazing experience! The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The location of the guest house was perfect - close to all the main attractions and easy to navigate. Plus, the guest house had a festive atmosphere, with guests from all over the world mingling and enjoying their holiday stay.
I must admit that there were a few downsides to my stay. the room I was in had some maintenance issues - the door didn't close properly and it was quite noisy during the night.

We had a great stay at Belem Guest House in Porto. It was a little hard to find at first, but once we got to the Red Cross Hostel on General Torres St, we picked up our keys and everything was smooth from there. the shared bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the rooms, although not the biggest in Porto, provided a good night's sleep with firm beds. the highlight was definitely the terrace with its amazing view of Nova Gaia and Porto. the owners were very nice and maintained the place very well. the breakfast had plenty of coffee, milk, fruit, and sandwiches. It's a great place for young travelers exploring the city.
